Sealed Air is a worldwide company providing sustainable solutions that improve food safety and security. Our firm was asked to remodel their new facilities in Athens.
The brief called for an open-plan solution, limiting the enclosed spaces to 4, plus meeting rooms and support facilities.
The Trillian Icon of the Sealed Air logo inspired us. We used the fluidity of one of its three elements in order to define the open plan spaces and separate them from the closed office spaces, the core facilities and horizontal circulation.
Upon entering the Sealed Air offices, the dominating element is the Sealed-Air logo, located on the wall behind the reception desk. Combined with the reception desk proper and the two seating areas, the overall impact highlights the corporate image and standards of excellence of Sealed Air.
The two main meeting rooms are placed behind the reception area. On either side unfurl the open-plan office spaces. The layout of the two main office spaces stays true to the “test-fit” preliminary concept – with minor changes aimed to better dovetail the layout into the overall design concept.
