This project was suspended, after the completion of the preliminary design phase, because of recurring landslides from the steep rock face close to which the facility was necessarily going to be built because of the location's proximity to the thermal therapeutic springs.
The 8160m2 hydrotherapy (spa) complex included 40 spa units, support facilities, restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, administration as well as indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Also foreseen were extensive landscape works.
The impact of the building forms against the “almost touching” rocky backdrop has been mellowed down through the use of a succession of horizontal lines on all the façades.
